  • When Pastor Seth Shelton went on his first short-term mission trip, he didn’t expect the long-term impact it would have on his life—or his future church plant. That trip sparked a passion for international missions that now shapes the vision of his Missouri congregation. Through Seth’s leadership, the church has sent missions teams to Senegal annually for the past 13 years. “The vision Seth has, and with him coming a couple of times a year, is essential for the church. If they don’t see the pastor going and engaging, don’t hear from the pulpit the importance of getting out among the nations, it’s hard to see the members mobilize.” — Josh Rivers, IMB missionary in Senegal 👉 Read how The Way Church is transforming lives in West Africa at: https://imb.world/430mVCc.

  • When needs have been met, lives will be changed. A recent IMB medical mission in Armenia, in partnership with Send Relief, demonstrated just how powerful healthcare missions can be: 🔵 850 patients treated 🔵 350 spiritual conversations and gospel shares 🔵 57 people placed their faith in Christ Hosted by Armenian Baptists and supported by a volunteer team from the U.S. and Greece, this Serve Tour had an impact that continues to multiply. Local churches report increased momentum in ministry—less than a year after the outreach. But the numbers only tell part of the story. Behind each patient is a life touched—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Long after the clinics ended, local believers are building on these connections through discipleship and ongoing care. “When we partner with local churches, we can have a long-term impact through things like health care strategies.” — Ginny Wheeler, IMB missionary Are you a healthcare professional, student, or someone with a heart for global impact? • Last week, we honored 65 retiring missionaries, recognized as IMB emeriti after lifetimes of faithful service. From Haiti to Central Asia, these men and women carried the hope of Christ across the world, witnessing God’s faithfulness through countless challenges and victories. Their stories share a powerful theme: learning to rely on God while partnering with local believers to fulfill the missionary task. This approach reflects the heart of IMB’s globalization strategy—mobilizing Baptist missionaries from the nations to the nations. Their legacy reminds us: cooperation fuels global missions. Every prayer, every gift, every partnership from Southern Baptist churches has helped send and sustain them in their calling. Will you be part of the story God is still writing among the nations? 🔗 Read more at: imb.world/4iTppXJ.

  • As war continues to reshape life across Ukraine and neighboring regions, churches in the U.S. with Slavic roots are stepping into a vital role—partnering with IMB missionaries to strengthen gospel efforts in Eastern Europe. One such partnership is with Spring of Life, a Slavic church in Sacramento, California. While current conditions in Ukraine prevent volunteer travel, Spring of Life is providing resources that allow trusted Ukrainian mission partners to continue sharing the gospel and discipling believers in areas affected by conflict. They’re also supporting retreats for Ukrainian spiritual leaders—creating space for rest and encouragement amid intense ministry in war zones. This collaboration reflects the growing influence of diaspora churches in global missions and the importance of cross-cultural partnerships. By combining cultural proximity with strategic engagement, these churches are uniquely positioned to support national believers and expand the reach of the gospel. imb.world/4jpbZUg
